Dr. Rodrigues is Professor in Community Medicine at St John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, Bangalore. She has been a DBT/ Wellcome Trust India Alliance Fellow. She completed her doctoral studies from Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden, in 2014.
Dr. Rodrigues works with Infectious disease, epidemiology and public health. Her recent work has focused on developing mobile technology solutions to support adherence to treatment in chronic infectious diseases such as HIV infection and TB. Her research also focuses on infectious disease prevention including community engagement and risk communication, as well as vaccines for diseases such as Dengue, TB, and other respiratory infections.
She is also one of the recipients of the BIRAC Cachexia TB Grand Challenges award 2024. Her additional interests include clinical trials and implementation research surrounding infectious disease, costs of care, as well as qualitative research.
