Ambika is a scientific communication expert with over two years of experience in scientific writing and clinical publications. She earned her PhD from the Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (inStem), Bangalore, where she explored the mechanisms of epithelial-immune cell cross-talk in embryonic skin using integrin knockout mouse models.

Following her PhD, she channelled her passion for storytelling into writing articles for IndiaBioscience, sharing insights from the life sciences. She then transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry as a Global Medical Writer in the Rare Disease Medical Affairs division at Novo Nordisk, managing end-to-end publications of clinical studies on Haemophilia. Her freelance work has further expanded her skill set, where she successfully crafted CSR grant proposals to secure institutional funding.

Beyond writing, she is deeply committed to mentoring life science graduates, offering thoughtful, engaging content that equips them for personal and professional success. For her, growth is a shared journey, and she is passionate about making a meaningful impact on society through her work.
