The Ekalavya-Ignite Travel Grant Application
The application window for funding for travel to international meetings in OCT to DEC 2024 is now OPEN. Applications for this travel window will be solicited between JULY 1 and JULY 20, 2024.
Anyone can apply but, if all else is equal, preference will be given to those who (1) are from smaller institutes/universities. (2) are giving platform presentations (3) who are willing to accept part funding or funding less than INR 1 L (4) who are receiving a waiver/subsidy from the organizers for the registration fee amount.
This is a travel grant provided to doctoral students and postdoctoral trainees in the life science in non-profit Indian academic and research institutions. This grant is available throughout the year until the funds available are exhausted. The grant money will be disbursed against actual expenses incurred. Notification of acceptance of presentation from the meeting organizers must be submitted. Preference will be given to attendance in small and selective meetings (e.g. Gordon Conference/Keystone/EMBO etc.).
